Bye-bye, Bed & Biscuit

Some have commented that I tend to keep the specifics of my job out of my blog. This is true. Partly because my occupation is not at all interesting to the outside observer, and partly because I tend to be private about certain things.



So ... without giving out too much information, I have decided to leave my employer of eight years and pursue a new opportunity. My previous employer was a large software company based in Redmond. Let's call it 'Bed & Biscuit.' My new employer (help me out, I'm under NDA here) will be henceforth refered to as NewDotCom. As is my custom, I will almost certainly never mention anything about NewDotCom in this blog, but from time to time I may be struck by the differences between working for Bed & Biscuit and NewDotCom and I'd like my faithful readers to know about them.



Tomorrow is my first day at NewDotCom. Friday was my last day at Bed & Biscuit.
